Fulldome Festival 2026 – Tag 3
Der Freitag markiert den Höhepunkt des Fulldome Festivals – ein Tag, an dem Vision, Wissen und Kreativität ineinanderfließen. Zwischen wissenschaftlicher Präzision, medialer Innovation und filmischer Poesie entfaltet sich das volle Spektrum immersiver Kultur.
Der Vormittag beginnt mit einem Blick zu den Sternen – und führt weiter zu den Köpfen hinter den Projekten, Technologien und Ideen, die das Medium Fulldome prägen. Der Nachmittag gehört den Finalist*innen des internationalen Wettbewerbs, bevor am Abend die besten Werke des Jahres im Rampenlicht stehen.

Eine astronomische Einführung in den Tag – ein ruhiger Start mit kosmischem Weitblick.
⚙️ 10:00 – 13:00 · Frameless Forum
Gespräche, Einblicke, Inspiration: Künstlerinnen, Programmiererinnen und Forscher*innen diskutieren die Zukunft des immersiven Mediums – von künstlerischer Praxis bis zu neuen Technologien und Produktionsformen.
🎥 13:00 – 18:00 · 360° Filmfestival
Die besten internationalen Fulldome-Filme im Wettbewerb: eindrucksvolle Bildräume, emotionale Erzählformen und technische Meisterwerke, die die Grenzen des Kinos erweitern.
🏆 19:00 · Janus Award Gala
Feierlicher Höhepunkt des Festivals – die Vergabe des Janus Awards, der renommiertesten Auszeichnung der Fulldome‑Szene. Ein Abend für große Bilder, glanzvolle Momente und die Vielfalt der immersiven Filmkunst.

For the 19th time, we are opening the doors of the oldest planetarium in the world for
the international FullDome Festival 2025. The FullDome Festival shows the best 360° films produced in the past year. The films are created by professional
producers, young talents and innovative artists and some of them celebrate their
world premiere.
The best productions will be announced in the evening for the JANUS Awards, the „Oscar“ of
the fulldome scene.
19:30 starts the Award Gala
Will be streamed live and free for those who cannot be in Jena – wait for link.
In addition to the fulldome films, the programme also includes
the Frameless Forum presentations. Innovations from the fields of fulldome, media
art, electronic art, virtual reality and 3D sound will be presented for discussion.
The day ticket includes the entire festival programme with all films
screenings and technology talks of the day and the nomination in the evening.
The Club Night is excluded from the day ticket.
The COMBI Ticket is particularly favourable for FullDome Festival fans. For
€29.00 or €25.00 reduced, it includes the entire daytime programme including the
Clubnight in the evening.
