In der Dämmerung sind unsere Nachbarplaneten Mars und Venus im Westen zu sehen. Mars vor dem Tierkreissternbild Krebs, ab 20. Juni vor dem Tierkreissternbild Löwe und Venus noch vor den Zwillingen, ab 3. Juni vor dem Krebs und ab 27. Juni ebenfalls vor dem Löwen. Venus erreicht ihre größte Helligkeit am 7. Juli, sie strebt der Sonne entgegen und wird ab etwa 22. August am Osthimmel wieder als sogenannter „Morgenstern“ sichtbar. Auf dem Bild sind rechts daneben die hellen Sterne des Tierkreissternbildes Zwillinge Kastor und Pollux zu sehen. Die Zwillinge sind ein Sternbild des Winters und gehören zum Wintersechseck. Bis etwa Mitte Juli können wir beide Planeten beobachten. Die Sonne zieht ab 22. Juni vor das Sternbild Zwillinge und ab 21. Juli vor den Krebs. In den frühen Morgenstunden erscheint am östlichen Himmel der Saturn und ab Mitte Juni der Jupiter.

At twilight our neighbouring planets Mars and Venus can be seen in the west. Mars in front of the zodiacal constellation Cancer, from 20 June in front of the zodiacal constellation Leo and Venus still in front of Gemini, from 3 June in front of Cancer and from 27 June also in front of Leo. Venus reaches its greatest brightness on 7 July, moving towards the Sun and becoming visible again as the so-called „morning star“ in the eastern sky from about 22 August. To the right of Venus in the picture are the bright stars of the zodiacal constellation Gemini, Kastor and Pollux. The twins are a constellation of winter and belong to the winter hexagon. We can observe both planets until about mid-July. The Sun moves in front of the constellation Gemini from 22 June and in front of Cancer from 21 July. Saturn appears in the eastern sky in the early morning hours and Jupiter from mid-June.
